Ear Candles By Choice is a division of Double D Works Ltd and was created to provide you with what we believe are the best ear candles on the New Zealand market, hands down.

After a number of (5-6) years of testing various candles through the candling process, we have come to know good ear candles from bad and for a number of reasons, based on many factors such as but not limited to; burn time, comfort and therefore fit, beeswax (as opposed to paraffin; a petroleum based product), unbleached cotton muslin, the diameter and wrap of each ear candle (which effects the draw and smoke infusion during the candling process) and best of all, cost and value for money.

Please note that; the Item(s) available for purchase are sold in pairs (as described on the right of each page). The ear candles are wrapped to look good and for transport reasons, with the main intention being on protecting the ear candles as best as possible, while making them a tidy presentable package.

We often add additional protection such as bubble wrap and or corrugated cardboard for during transport. We also include instructions with each pair of ear candles.

A copy of the instructions, along with some history on ear candles are provided here as well. The history page also provides a few brief examples of who are prone to ear related problems, such as why children between 0-8 years of age are susceptible to ear related problems like ear ache, infection or excess wax, which can potentially result in the condition known as otitis media.

As it is imperative that such a condition is rectified as soon as possible, candling can be a great option when used alone and or in conjunction with traditional surgery, such as during the waiting time prior to an operation.

After all it has been known to remove the need for invasive medical intervention all together.
